The shallow trough is extending across the Adriatic from the north.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE, along the coast at first E winds, 4-14, only in places up to 18, turning in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic toward the end of the day and during the night to NE and N winds 4-14, only in places up to 18 knots. Sea 2-3. Visibility 10-20, in places possibly around 5 km due to mist. Mostly clear, but gradual cloud increase is expected in the afternoon, firstly in the northern part of the Adriatic. In the North Adriatic toward the end of the day and in a part of the Central during the night a risk of rain or isolated rain showers with thunder.

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic light to moderate NE and N winds. In the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic light to moderate SE winds, turning gradually in the second part of the night to NE and N. Sea smooth or slight. Variably cloudy, in the North and in a part of the Central, from the middle of the night in the open sea of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic, a risk of rain or isolated rain showers with thunder.
