IN THE SOUTH AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC LOCAL GUSTS OF SE WINDS 35-40 KNOTS, EASING TOMORROW. A RISK OF LIGHT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS IN THE NORTH, IN THE EVENING AND DURING THE NIGHT IN THE REST OF THE ADRIATIC AS WELL.

The trough with frontal system is slowly shifting across the Adriatic eastwards.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic SE and SW winds 10-20, easing to 6-16 knots. In the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic SE winds 12-24 knots. Sea 2-3, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic 3-4. Visibility 10-20, in places around 4 km due to mist. Mainly cloudy and rather warm with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder in the North, in the evening and during the night in the Central and South Adriatic as well. West and north of Istria partial clearing and end of precipitation.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

In the North and in the greater part of the Central Adriatic light, in places during the night still up to moderate SE and SW winds. In the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic moderate to fresh, at first still up to strong SE, turning in the morning to SW and W and easing to light to moderate, only in the extreme south of the Adriatic still fresh SE and S winds. Mainly cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder. Tomorrow morning in the North Adriatic, south of Istria, then in a part of the Central Adriatic, partial clearing and end of precipitation. West and north of Istria mostly clear. A risk of mist here and there, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic.
