IN THE SOUTH AND CENTRAL ADRIATIC AT FIRST STILL LOCAL GUSTS OF NW and NE WINDS 35-40, IN THE OPEN OF THE SOUTH ADRIATIC POSSIBLY BRIEFLY UP TO 55 KNOTS. STILL A RISK OF ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS IN THE SOUTH AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC TODAY.SYNOPSIS
The shallow low will be shifting from the Adriatic further southeastwards, while a weakened frontal disturbance is expected to shift from the north tomorrow.WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
NW winds 8-18, in places up to 22, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic at first still NE 12-22, locally in the open briefly up to 30 knots, easing gradually toward the end of the day. During the night, firstly in the northern part of the Adriatic, winds turning to SW 8-18 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open of the South and Central Adriatic up to 4. Visibility 10-20 km. In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic mostly clear, in the rest of the Adriatic variably cloudy with scattered rain or isolated rain showers and thunder. Clearing is expected toward the end of the day, but a new cloud increase and a risk of a little rain again during the night, firstly in the north of the Adriatic.WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS
