IN THE SOUTH ADRIATIC IN THE AFTERNOON LOCAL GUSTS OF SE WINDS 35-45 KNOTS. IN THE NORTH, DURING THE NIGHT AND TOMORROW MORNING IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC, LOCAL GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-55, IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL UP TO 65 KNOTS. LIGHT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS.

SYNOPSIS

The trough with frontal disturbance will be shifting gradually across the Adriatic southeastward, while a ridge of high pressure will intensify from the northwest.

SE winds 10-20, in the South Adriatic in the afternoon up to 24 knots, easing till the end of the day. In the North, late in the day in a part of the Central Adriatic NE winds 15-25, in the Velebit Channel up to 35 knots. Sea 2-3, in the North and South Adriatic 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably and mainly cloudy with scattered rain and with a risk of isolated rain showers and thunder. In the North Adriatic a risk of more abundant precipitation.

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic strong and near gale force, in the Velebit Channel up to gale force NE winds.
