The ridge of high pressure over the Adriatic is weakening, while the low over northwestern Africa is expected to deepen and to shift toward the western Mediterranean.

NE winds 6-16, easing and turning to SE, strengthening gradually later on to 6-16, toward the open of the South and Central Adriatic up to 20 knots. Sea 2-3. Visibility 10-20, only in places possibly reduced to around 4 km due to mist. Mostly clear, but moderate cloud increase is expected toward the end of the day.

SE winds further strengthening to fresh, toward the open sea in the second part of the night up to strong. Sea increasing to slight and moderate. Fine or fair.
