The ridge of high pressure is extending over the Adriatic from eastern Europe, while a new trough with frontal disturbance is expected to approach gradually from the northwest.

SE winds 8-18, only in places up to 22, easing a little briefly and strengthening again in the evening to 12-24 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open 3-4. Visibility 5-15 km, in places reduced due to mist, or due to fog, possibly to less than 200 meteres, particularly in the open sea. Fine or fair and warm.
