The shallow field of low pressure over the Adriatic and the central Mediterranean is slowly deepening.

SE winds in the North Adriatic 8-18, elsewhere 16-26, and in the extreme south of the Adriatic up to 32, easing in the North and in the greater part of the Central Adriatic till the end of the day to 6-16 knots. Sea 3-4, in the open today possibly 4-5, in the North Adriatic 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Mainly cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder. A little cooler.

Light to fresh, in the South Adriatic during the night and in a part of the Central at first, still up to strong SE winds. In the North, in the morning in a part of the Central Adriatic, SE winds will turn to NE and strengthening rapidly to strong and near gale force, in the Velebit Channel up to gale force. In the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic during the forenoon light to moderate SW winds. Sea slight and moderate, in the North Adriatic smooth and slight, but increasing in the morning possibly up to rough, mainly toward the open. Mainly cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder.
