IN THE SECOND PART OF THE NIGHT LOCAL GUSTS OF SE WINDS EXPECTED TO REACH 35-40, IN THE EXTREME NORTH OF THE ADRIATIC OF NE UP TO 45 KNOTS. A RISK OF FOG PATCHES IN THE MORNING AND OF ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS DURING THE NIGHT.

The ridge of high pressure has intensified briefly a little over the Adriatic, while a trough with frontal disturbance is approaching from the northwest.

Calm or variable winds 4-12, from midday, firstly in the North Adriatic, SE winds strengthening gradually to 8-18 knots. Sea 1-2, increasing in the afternoon to 2-3. Visibility 5-15, in places in the morning possibly reduced to less than 1 km due to fog. Mostly clear, but gradual cloud increase is expected in the afternoon.

SE winds further strengthening to moderate to strong and turning in the extreme north of the Adriatic before the morning to NE. Sea increasing to slight, locally in the second part of the night up to moderate. Heavier cloud increase, particularly in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic, bringing rain or isolated rain showers and thunder.
