The low over the Tyrhhenian Sea is extending a trough with frontal disturbance toward the Adriatic.

In the North, late in the day and during the night in a part of the Central Adriatic as well, NE winds strengthening to 16-32, in the Velebit Channel up to 40 knots. Elsewhere E and SE winds strengthening to 16-32, in places up to 36 knots, mainly toward the open sea. Sea increasing to 3-4, in the South and Central, during the night in the rest of the Adriatic, to 4-5. Visibility 10-20 km. Mainly cloudy with rain, showers and thunder, in places with a risk of more abundant precipitation.

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic strong and near gale force, in the Velebit Channel up to gale force NE winds. In the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic strong and near gale force, toward the open sea possibly up to gale force SE and E winds, easing gradually during the forenoon to moderate to strong. Sea moderate and rough. Mainly cloudy with rain, showers and thunder, in places with a risk of more abundant precipitation. A little colder, particularly in the northern part of the Adriatic.
