LOCAL GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-40, IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL UP TO 55 KNOTS, EASING GRADUALLY TOWARD MIDDAY, ONLY IN THE NORTH, IN THE EVENING IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC AS WELL, STILL UP TO 40 KNOTS. LIGHT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS, MAINLY IN THE SOUTHERN PART OF THE ADRIATIC.

The ridge of high pressure is extending toward the Adriatic from the north, while the shallow field of low pressure still lies over the southern part.

NE winds 8-18, in the North Adriatic up to 22, in the Velebit Channel up to 28 knots, and in places of the South Adriatic briefly SE winds. In the North Adriatic NE winds will gradually ease to 8-18, in the Velebit Channel up to 22 knots. In the rest of the Adriatic NE winds will also ease and turn to NW 4-14 knots. Sea 2-3, in the Velebit Channel possibly up to 4. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with scattered rain and with a risk of isolated rain showers with thunder, mainly in the southern part of the Adriatic.

Mainly light NE and E, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic moderate to fresh NE, in the Velebit Channel up to strong. Sea smooth or slight. Variably cloudy, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic with scattered rain or isolated rain showers with thunder.
