IN THE NORTH AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC LOCAL GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-45 KNOTS, MAINLY IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL, AND IN THE OPEN SEA A RISK OF GUSTS OF NW WINDS 35-40 KNOTS. IN THE SOUTH AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC LIGHT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS, MAINLY AROUND MIDDAY AND IN THE AFTERNOON.

The ridge of high pressure is extending over the Adriatic from the northwest, but moist and unstable air is still circulating in high levels.

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic NE winds 6-16, only in places up to 20, in the Velebit Channel up to 26 knots. Elsewhere along the coast NE, around midday W winds 6-16, in the open sea NW 12-24 knots. Sea 2-3, only locally up to 4. Visibility 20 km. Variably cloudy with a risk of rain, showers and thunder in the South and Central Adriatic, mainly along the coast around midday and in the afternoon.

Clearing, but in the South and Central Adriatic still with a very little risk of isolated rain showers and thunder. In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic light to moderate, only in places up to fresh, in the Velebit Channel up to strong NE winds. Elsewhere along the coast light to moderate NE, in the open sea light to fresh NW winds. Sea smooth or slight, possibly up to moderate.
