The ridge of high pressure is extending over the Adriatic from the northwest, while moist and unstable air is circulating in high levels.

NE winds 6-16, in places up to 20, in the Velebit Channel up to 26, turning toward the open in the afternoon, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic even along the coast, to NW 10-20, in the open sea up to 24 knots. Sea 2-3, locally in the open up to 4. Visibility 20 km. Variably cloudy in places with a risk of scattered rain or isolated rain showers and thunder, mainly along the coast in the afternoon.

Moderate and fresh NE, toward the open sea NW winds. Sea smooth or slight. Mostly clear, but toward midday becoming variably cloudy with a risk of rain or showers, particularly in the Central Adriatic.
