A trough with frontal disturbance is shifting over the Adriatic to the south-east and a ridge of high from the north-west will intensify a little afterwards.

NE wind 14-28, locally at the foot of Velebit and briefly possibly also elsewhere up to 34 knots. At night wind will be diminishing slowly in the North Adriatic. Sea 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with scattered rain, showers and thunder while late in the day clearing up is expected in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic.

Strong NE wind, locally also of near gale force, midday gradually diminishing to moderate and reinforced, remaining strong only in places in the South Adriatic. Sea slight and moderate. Mostly clear while still at night in the South Adriatic and in a part of the Central Adriatic variably cloudy with scattered rain, showers and thunder.
