ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS. IN THE NORTH AND IN THE GREATER PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC, THEN GRADUALLY MORE TO THE SOUTH, LOCAL GUSTS OF NE, IN THE OPEN SEA OF NW WINDS, STRENGTHENING TO 35-45, IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL UP TO 60 KNOTS.

The trough with frontal system is shifting eastwards with its major part north of the Adriatic, while a ridge of high pressure is gradually intensifying from the west.

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic NE and NW winds 12-24, in the Velebit Channel up to 32 knots, gradually spreading more to the south. Sea 2-3, in the open and in the Velebit Channel increasing to 3-4. Variably cloudy with rain, isolated rain showers and thunder. Air temperatures will drop significantly.

Moderate to strong, in places up to near gale force NE and NW winds, easing in the North Adriatic in the second part of the night. Sea slight and moderate. Gradual clearing, but at first still a risk of isolated rain showers and thunder, mainly in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic.
