The frontal system is shifting with its major part north of the Adriatic and the ridge of high pressure will gradually intensify from the northwest.

In the North Adriatic NE winds 10-20, in the Velebit Channel up to 25 knots. Elsewhere NW winds 6-12 knots, turning along the coast late in the day to NE. Sea 2-3. Visibility 15-25 km. Mostly clear, but in the extreme north of the Adriatic variably cloudy with a risk of isolated rain showers and thunder.
