IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC TOWARD THE END OF THE DAY AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC DURING THE NIGHT LOCAL GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-60, IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL UP TO 75 KNOTS.

The trough with frontal system is approaching the Adriatic from the northwest.

Calm or SE winds 4-10, strengthening in places up to 14, and turning in the North Adriatic toward the end of the day to NE and strengthening to 12-22 knots. Sea 1-2, increasing toward the end of the day to 2-3. Visibility 10-20, but in places reduced to 2-4 km due to mist. In places variably cloudy with isolated rain showers and thunder, mainly around midday and in the afternoon. Heavier cloud increase with rain, showers and thunder expected late in the day.

In the North, during the night in a part of the Central Adriatic, NE winds strengthening to strong and near gale force, in the Velebit Channel up to gale force. Sea smooth or slight, increasing in the northern part up to moderate. Mainly cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder.
