The trough with frontal system is approaching the Adriatic from the northwest.

SE winds 4-12, in places up to 16, turning in the North Adriatic in the afternoon and in a part of the Central during the night, to NE and strengthening to 16-32, in the Velebit Channel up to 38 knots. Sea 1-2, increasing till the end of the day to 2-3, in the North Adriatic during the night to 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with a risk of isolated rain showers and thunder along the coast in the afternoon, but heavier cloud increase with rain, showers and thunder expected through the night.

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic moderate to near gale force NE, in the rest of the Adriatic light to moderate SE, turning to moderate and fresh NE winds. Sea in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic slight and moderate, in the rest of the Adriatic smooth or slight. Variably cloudy with rain, showers and thunder. A little cooler.
