The ridge of high pressure is intensifying over the Adriatic from the northwest, while the trough with frontal system is shifting further eastwards.

NE winds 12-24, in the Velebit Channel up to 30, easing during the day to 6-16, in the Velebit Channel to 22 knots, and turning in the open sea, around midday in places along the coast as well, to NW. Sea 2-3, locally up to 4 at first. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear. In the South Adriatic variably cloudy, but clearing is expected there as well in the afternoon.
