The ridge of high pressure is intensifying over the Adriatic from the west, while moist and unstable air is inflowing in high levels from the south.

In the North Adriatic NE winds 6-16, in the Velebit Channel up to 24 , easing a little around midday and turning toward the open sea to NW 4-14 knots. Toward the open sea of the Central and South Adriatic NW, in the South Adriatic this morning briefly SE winds, 6-16, and along the coast this morning NE, in the afternoon SW and NW winds 4-14 knots. Sea 1-2, in the open and in the Velebit Channel 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear, but in the South, from midday in a part of the Central Adriatic as well, variably cloudy with a little rain or a shower with thunder in places.

Light to moderate NW, turning in the North and along the coast of the Central and South Adriatic to light to moderate, in the Velebit Channel up to fresh NE winds. Sea smooth or slight.
