The cold front is approaching from the north and it is expected to shift across the Adriatic, while the ridge of high pressure will intensify gradually behind it from the northwest.

Mainly SE winds 4-12, turning in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic to NE and strengthening to 14-28, in the Velebit Channel up to 34, toward the end of the day gradually in the rest of the Adriatic as well up to 20 knots. Sea 1-2, increasing gradually to 2-3, in the northern part of the Adriatic to 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Cloud increase is expected, bringing rain or showers with thunder in places, firstly in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic.

Moderate to strong, in the Velebit Channel up to near gale force NE winds. Sea slight, in the northern part up to moderate. Variably cloudy with scattered rain or isolated rain showers with thunder.
