The frontal system is slowly shifting across the Adriatic southeastwards, while the ridge of high pressure is intensifying behind it.

NE winds 12-24, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic up to 28, and in the Velebit Channel up to 34 knots. Sea increasing to 3-4, locally in the North Adriatic 4-5, mainly toward the end of the day and during the night in the open. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, in places possibly more abundant precipitation, mainly in the open sea of the Central and South Adriatic. Gradual clearing is expected in the North Adriatic in the afternoon.

Moderate to strong, in the Velebit Channel up to near gale force NE winds. Sea slight and moderate, locally in the North Adriatic up to rough, mainly toward the open. Variably cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, in places possibly more abundant precipitation, mainly in the open sea of the South Adriatic. In the North Adriatic mostly clear and gradual clearing is expected in the Central Adriatic as well.
