LOCAL GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-40 KNOTS STILL POSSIBLE IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL THIS MORNING. ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS.

The trough with frontal disturbance is shifting across the Adriatic, while the ridge of high pressure is expected to intensify from the west.

In the North Adriatic NW and NE winds 6-16, in the Velebit Channel this morning NE still up to 20, easing gradually to 4-10 knots. Elsewhere SE winds turning to NW 8-18, and easing to 4-14 knots. Sea 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder. End of precipitation and clearing expected in the North Adriatic this morning and in the Central later on.

Mostly clear, but in the extreme south of the Adriatic still a little risk of isolated rain showers and thunder. Light, in the open sea of the South and Central Adriatic up to moderate NW winds. Sea smooth, in the South and Central Adriatic up to slight.
