The trough with frontal disturbance is shifting across the South Adriatic, while the ridge of high pressure is intensifying from the west.

NW winds 4-12, in the South and Central Adriatic 6-16 knots, easing and dying away gradually in the North Adriatic toward the end of the day. In places along the coast at first still NE winds 4-12, in the extreme south of the Adriatic S and SW winds 6-16 knots. Sea 2-3, calming in the North Adriatic till the end of the day to 1-2. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear, but in the South Adriatic today and in a part of the Central only at first, still variably cloudy with scattered rain and with a chance for isolated rain showers and thunder.
