IN THE NORTH, THEN GRADUALLY MORE TO THE SOUTH OF THE ADRIATIC, LOCAL GUSTS OF NE WINDS STRENGTHENING TO 35-60, IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL UP TO 80 KNOTS. IN THE SOUTH ADRIATIC TILL THE END OF THE DAY A RISK OF GUSTS OF SE WINDS 35-40 KNOTS. SEA IN THE OPEN OF THE NORTH, TOWARD THE END OF THE DAY OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC AS WELL, UP TO 5. ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS.

The low is shifting across the Adriatic southeastwards and the ridge of high pressure will intensify briefly from the northwest.

NE winds further strengthening to 14-28, in places up to 34, in the Velebit Channel up to 44 knots, spreading gradually from the North to the Central Adriatic. In the South Adriatic still SE winds 12-24 knots. Sea 3-4, in the open of the North and Central Adriatic till the end of the day up to 5. Visibility 10-20 km. Overcast and significantly colder with rain, isolated rain showers and thunder. Clearing is expected in the North Adriatic in the afternoon, and gradually in a part of the Central later on.

Moderate to near gale force, in places up to gale force NE, in the extreme south of the Adriatic at first still up to strong SE winds. Sea mainly moderate, in the open up to rough. Further clearing, only in the South Adriatic still cloudy with rain, showers and thunder in places.
