The low is shifting across the Adriatic southeastwards and the ridge of high pressure will briefly intensify from the northwest.

In the North and Central Adriatic NE winds 15-25, in places up to 30, and in the Velebit Channel up to 40 knots. Elsewhere SE and E winds 8-16 knots. Sea 2-3, in the North Adriatic 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Overcast and significantly colder with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder. Clearing is expected in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic till the end of the day.
