LOCAL GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-50 KNOTS, EASING DURING THE DAY AND TURNING IN THE SOUTH AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC AROUND MIDDAY TO NW AROUND 35 KNOTS, EASING DURING THE NIGHT. IN THE EXTREME SOUTH OF THE ADRIATIC STILL A RISK OF ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS AT FIRST.

The trough with cold front has moved from the Adriatic southeastwards and the ridge of high pressure has intensified from northwest.

NE winds 10-20, in places of the Central and South Adriatic and in the Velebit Channel up to 25, easing during the day to 6-16, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic up to 22 knots and turning to NW. Sea 2-3, in the open 3-4, calming gradually, firstly in the North Adriatic. Visibility 20 km. Mostly clear with some clouds in places, in the extreme south of the Adriatic still with isolated rain showers and thunder this morning.

Light to moderate NW and NE winds. Sea smooth or slight, in the extreme south of the Adriatic still up to moderate at first. Fine or fair.
