IN THE NORTH, IN THE AFTERNOON IN THE CENTRAL AND SOUTH ADRIATIC AS WELL, LOCAL GUSTS OF NE WINDS, STRENGTHENING TO 35-55, IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL IN THE EVENING UP TO 70 KNOTS.

The ridge of high pressure is extending toward the Adriatic from the north, while the low over the Ligurian Sea is deepening and shifting toward the Tyrrhenian Sea, and tomorrow further southwards.

NE and E winds 6-16, in the Velebit Channel up to 26 knots. From midday, firstly in the North Adriatic, NE winds further strengthening to 14-28, in the Velebit Channel in the evening up to 36 knots. Sea 2-3, in the Velebit Channel and in the open sea of the North Adriatic increasing to 3-4. Visibility above 20 km. Variably cloudy with rain in the open sea, but gradual clearing is expected in the afternoon.
