IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-45, IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL UP TO 55, AND IN PLACES OF THE CENTRAL AND SOUTH ADRIATIC DURING THE NIGHT AND TOMORROW MORNING 35-40 KNOTS. STILL A CHANCE FOR LIGHT THUNDERSTORMS TODAY, MAINLY IN THE OPEN SEA OF THE SOUTHERN PART OF THE ADRIATIC.

The shallow trough with frontal system over the Adriatic is slowly shiftng southeastwards, while the ridge of high pressure is extending from the north.

NE winds, in the North Adriatic 10-22, in the Velebit Channel up to 28, in the South and Central Adriatic 6-16, in places during the night up to 20 knots. Sea 2-3, in the North Adriatic 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with scattered rain, today still with a chance for isolated rain showers and thunder, mainly in the open sea and in the south of the Adriatic. In the North, during the night in the Central Adriatic as well, partial clearing.

Mostly clear, but during the night in the South Adriatic still variably cloudy with scattered rain. Light to moderate, in places up to fresh, and in the North Adriatic moderate to strong, in the Velebit Channel up to near gale force NE winds, easing a little during the forenoon. Sea smooth or slight, locally in the North Adriatic up to moderate.
