LOCAL GUSTS OF SE WINDS STRENGTHENING TO 35-45 KNOTS. A RISK OF THUNDERSTORMS.

The trough over the Ionian Sea is filling up, while the low over the Ligurian Sea is deepening and it is expected to shift over the Adriatic.

SE winds strengthening firstly in the North Adriatic to 12-24, in places in the second part of the day up to 28 knots. In the extreme south of the Adriatic at first still NE and NW winds 6-16 knots. Sea 2-3, increasing gradually to 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Cloud increase with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder mainly in the North, late in the day in the rest of the Adriatic as well.

Moderate to strong, in places up to near gale force SE, turning in the North, then in a part of the Central Adriatic, to SW winds and easing gradually. Sea slight and moderate. Variably cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder.
