TODAY STILL LIGHT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS, PARTICULARLY IN THE OPEN SEA.

The Mediterranean low centred over Corsica and Sardinia is slowly shifting southeastwards, toward the Ionian Sea.

SE winds 15-30, in the open sea up to 35 knots, easing gradually in the North, during the night in the Central Adriatic. In the North Adriatic till the evening and along the coast of the rest of the Adriatic during the night, wind is expected to turn to NE 10-20, in the Velebit Channel up to 28 knots. Sea 4-5, in the open possibly up to 6. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably and mainly cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, at first mainly along the coast, then in the open sea as well.

Moderate to near gale force SE winds in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic gradually easing. In the North and along the coast of the rest of the Adriatic moderate to strong, in the Velebit Channel up to near gale force NE winds. Sea slight and moderate, in the open rough and very rough. Variably cloudy, still with rain and showers in the open sea.
