LIGHT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS IN THE OPEN OF THE SOUTH ADRIATIC.

The low centred over the Tyrrhenian Sea is slowly shifting toward the Ionian Sea.

In the North and in the greater part of the Central Adriatic NE winds 10-20, in the Velebit Channel at first still up to 26, easing during the day to 6-16, only in the Velebit Channel still up to 20, turning in the open sea toward the end of the day to NW 6-16 knots. In the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic SE and E winds 12-24, easing along the coast in the afternoon and in the open sea till the end of the day to 6-16 knots. Sea 4-5, calming gradually to 3-4, toward the end of the day and during the night in the North and Central Adriatic 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, mainly toward the open sea of the South Adriatic. Clearing is expected in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic during the forenoon.

Light to moderate, in the Velebit Channel up to fresh NE, toward the open sea NW winds. In the South Adriatic in the first part of the night still light to moderate, toward the open at first up to fresh SE winds. Sea smooth or slight, in the south of the Adriatic at first still up to moderate. Mostly clear. In the South Adriatic variably cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, mainly toward the open sea, and gradual clearing in the northern part of the region from the middle of the night.
