The trough with frontal system is approaching the Adriatic from the western Mediterranean.

SE, in places along the coast E winds, 14-28, easing in the North Adriatic around midday and turning to SW and NW, in the afternoon to NE and rapidly strengthening to 16-32, in the Velebit Channel up to 42 knots. In a part of the Central Adriatic in the evening and during the night wind also turning to NE 14-28 knots. Sea 3-4, in the Velebit Channel late in the day and during the night possibly up to 5. Mainly cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, particularly in the second part of the day.

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic strong and near gale force NE winds, in the Velebit Channel up to gale force. In the rest of the Adriatic SE winds turning gradually to NE moderate to strong. Sea moderate, in the Velebit Channel possibly up to rough. Mainly cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, but clearing is expected in the northern part in the second part of the night.
