The trough with frontal disturbance is shifting across the Adriatic southeastwards, while a ridge of high pressure is intensifying from the northwest.

NE winds 15-25, in the Velebit Channel 25-35 knots. In the South Adriatic SE and SW winds 8-16 knots, turning in the afternoon to NE. Sea 2-3, in the Velebit Channel and toward the open 3-4. In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic partial clearing, elsewhere variably cloudy with scattered rain and brief isolated rain showers with thunder, but clearing is expected there as well in the evening.
