IN THE NORTH AND IN THE GREATER PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC, DURING THE FORENOON GRADUALLY ELSEWHERE AS WELL, GUSTS OF NE WINDS STRENGTHENING TO 35-65, IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL UP TO 85 KNOTS. IN THE SOUTH AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC AT FIRST STILL A RISK OF GUSTS OF SE WINDS 35-40 KNOTS. SEA LOCALLY UP TO 5. ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS.

The trough with frontal system is shifting across the Adriatic further southeastwards, while a ridge of high pressure is intensifying from the northwest.

In the North and in the greater part of the Central Adriatic, during the forenoon gradually elsewhere as well, NE winds strengthening to 18-36, in the Velebit Channel up to 46 knots. In the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic at first still SE winds 12-24 knots. Sea 3-4, increasing to 4-5, firstly in the northern part of the Adriatic. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder. In the North, around midday in the Central Adriatic as well, end of precipitation and partial clearing.

Strong and gale force, in the Velebit Channel up to strong gale force NE winds. Sea moderate and rough. Mostly clear. In the South Adriatic variably cloudy, still with rain, showers and thunder in places in the first part of the night, mainly in the open sea, but gradual clearing is expected there as well toward the morning.
