IN THE EXTREME SOUTH OF THE ADRIATIC AT FIRST STILL GUSTS OF NE WIND 35-40, STRENGTHENING AGAIN IN THE REST OF THE ADRIATIC LATE IN THE DAY AND DURING THE NIGHT TO 35-55 KNOTS. A CHANCE OF FOG PATCHES IN THE EXTREME NORTH OF THE ADRIATIC DURING THE NIGHT AND IN THE MORNING.

The broad high lies over the Adriatic and the weakened cold front is expected to shift from the north.

NE winds 6-16, in the extreme south of the Adriatic up to 20, turning gradually to NW 6-16, toward the open sea up to 20 knots. Sea 2-3, toward the open 3-4. Visibility 10-20, in the extreme north of the Adriatic during the night and in the morning possibly less than 1 km due to fog. Mostly clear, but becoming variably cloudy around midday and in the afternoon.

NE winds strengthening to moderate and strong, in places up to near gale force. Sea smooth or slight, toward the open up to moderate. Mostly clear, only in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic with some passing variable cloudiness.
