NW winds 6-16, toward the open up to 20, turning late in the night to NE and strengthening to 12-22 knots. Sea increasing to 2-3, toward the open possibly 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear, but in the afternoon and in the first part of the night with passing variable cloudiness.

Moderate to strong, only in places up to near gale force NE winds, mainly in the Velebit Channel and in the extreme south of the Adriatic. Sea smooth or slight, toward the open up to moderate. Mostly clear with variable cloudiness in the South Adriatic at first.
