Synopsis
The shallow low and frontal system are shifting from the Adriatic eastwards, while the ridge of high pressure is intensifying from the northwest.
Weather forecast for the Adriatic for the first 12 hours
In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic NE winds 15-25, in the Velebit Channel up to 34, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic NE 8-18, strengthening gradually till the end of the day to 12-24, in places up to 30 knots. Sea 3-4, in the open of the North and of a part of the Central Adriatic in the evening possibly up to 5. Visibility 20 km. Fine or fair, only in places cloudy. Cloud increase is expected in places toward the end of the day, mainly in the North and Central Adriatic.

Moderate to strong, in the Velebit Channel up to near gale force NE winds, easing a little in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic during the forenoon. Sea slight and moderate, in the open of the North and of a part of the Central Adriatic possibly up to rough. Fine or fair, in places of the North and of a part of the Central Adriatic cloudy.
