The trough with frontal system is approaching the Adriatic from the northwest.
Weather forecast for the Adriatic for the first 12 hours
SE and SW winds further strengthening to 10-20, in places up to 24, and in the North Adriatic up to 28 knots. Sea 2-3, in the northern part of the Adriatic and in the open sea increasing to 3-4. Visibility 10-20, in places reduced to around 5 km due to mist. Fair or mainly cloudy with a risk of a little rain or a shower with thunder, mainly along the coast.
Weather forecast for the next 12 hours
Moderate to strong, in places up to near gale force SW, along the coast SE winds, turning in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic to W, and easing along the coast of the South Adriatic. Sea slight and moderate. A chance of mist. Partial clearing is expected, but along the coast in the first part of the night still variably cloudy with a risk of rain or showers with thunder.
