Synopsis
The ridge of high pressure has intensified briefly over the Adriatic, while the trough is expected to approach gradually from the northwest.
Weather forecast for the Adriatic for the first 12 hours
Wind turning to SE and strengthening gradually to 10-20, late in the day and during the night up to 24 knots, and turning later on to SW. Sea increasing to 2-3, late in the day to 3-4. Visibility 5-15, during the night and in the morning possibly less than 1 km due to fog. Gradual cloud increase, bringing rain in places from midday, and a risk of isolated rain showers with thunder during the night.

Moderate to strong SE and SW, turning in the North Adriatic before the morning to fresh NW winds. Sea slight and moderate. Variably cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, particularly in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic.
