The trough with frontal system is rapidly approaching the Adriatic from the northwest.
Weather forecast for the Adriatic for the first 12 hours
SE and SW winds 8-16, turning to NE and NW 12-24 knots, firstly in the North, in the afternoon in the rest of the Adriatic as well. Sea 2-3, in the Central and South Adriatic in the second part of the day 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably and mainly cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder. Clearing is expected in the North Adriatic in the morning and in the Central in the afternoon.
Weather forecast for the next 12 hours
Mostly clear, only in the South Adriatic at first still variably cloudy with scattered rain, but clearing is expected there as well later on. Light to moderate, in places up to strong NE, toward the open sea of the Central and South Adriatic moderate to strong NW winds. Sea smooth or slight, toward the open of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic up to moderate.
