The field of high pressure over the Adriatic is weakening while the trough with frontal system is approaching from the northwest.
Weather forecast for the Adriatic for the first 12 hours
SW and NW winds 4-14, in the open sea in the evening NW up to 20 knots. During the night NE and N winds strengthening 14-28 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open during the night 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with a little rain in places of the North Adriatic, but it is also possible in the rest of the Adriatic during the night.

Moderate, in places up to near gale force NE and N winds, easing in the North Adriatic during the forenoon. Sea slight and moderate. Clearing, but in the South Adriatic still with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and a risk of thunder.
