LOCAL GUSTS OF NE and NW WINDS 35-60 KNOTS, EASING IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC DURING THE FORENOON, IN THE CENTRAL IN THE AFTERNOON, AND IN THE SOUTH ADRIATIC TOWARD THE END OF THE DAY. LIGHT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS ARE STILL POSSIBLE IN THE SOUTH ADRIATIC DURING THE FORENOON.

The ridge of high pressure is intensifying from the west, while the trough with frontal system is shifting eastwards.

NE and NW winds 15-35, easing in the North Adriatic during the forenoon to 15, in the Central and South Adriatic in the afternoon to 22 knots. Sea 3-4, calming in the North Adriatic during the forenoon and in the Central in the afternoon, to 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. In the North Adriatic mostly clear, in the Central and South variably cloudy with scattered rain in the extreme south of the Adriatic during the forenoon, when isolated rain showers and thunder are also possible. Gradual clearing will start from the north of the Adriatic.

In the North and Central Adriatic light to moderate, in places at first still up to fresh, NE and NW winds, turning in the open sea late in the day and during the night to SE and SW. In the South Adriatic moderate to strong NE and NW winds easing late in the day and during the night. Sea 2-3, in the South Adriatic locally up to 4. Visibility 20 km. Mostly clear.
