Synopsis
The weakened front is approaching the Adriatic from the northwest, while a ridge of high pressure will be intensifying again in the evening.
Weather forecast for the Adriatic for the first 12 hours
NW winds 4-14, in the Central and South Adriatic strengthening to 8-18 knots, further strengthening during the night and turning to NE, west and north of Istria to NE and E winds 10-20, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic to 14-28 knots. Sea increasing to 2-3, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic to 3-4. Visibility 20 km. Mostly clear.
Weather forecast for the next 12 hours
Moderate to fresh NE, west and north of Istria NE and E winds, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic moderate to strong NE winds. During the forenoon NE winds will ease gradually to light to moderate, firstly in the northern part of the Adriatic, but in the extreme south still remaining up to fresh, and turning west and north of Istria to light SE winds. Sea smooth or slight, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic slight and moderate. Mostly clear.
