IN THE SOUTH AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC LOCAL GUSTS OF NW WINDS 35-45 KNOTS AND SEA LOCALLY IN THE OPEN UP TO 5, EASING AND CALMING IN THE EVENING. LOCAL GUSTS OF SW and SE WINDS EXPECTED DURING THE NIGHT, REACHING 35-45 KNOTS, TURNING TOMORROW TO NW, FIRSTLY IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC. ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS IN THE EXTREME SOUTH OF THE ADRIATIC AT FIRST AND IN THE REST OF THE ADRIATIC DURING THE NIGHT.

The trough with frontal system is shifting from the Adriatic eastwards, while a new one is approaching from the northwest.

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic NW winds 5-15, turning in the evening and during the night to SE and SW, then strengthening to 15-25 knots. In the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic NW winds 15-25, in the open sea up to 30, easing toward evening to 6-16, and turning during the night to SE and SW, strengthening to 14-26 knots. Sea 2-3, in the South Adriatic, during the night elsewhere as well, 3-4, and locally in the open of the South Adriatic up to 5 at first. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear, but in the extreme south at first variably cloudy with rain, showers and thunder in places. Cloud increase is expected all over the Adriatic during the night, bringing rain, showers and thunder later on.

Moderate to strong SW and SE winds turning in the North, during the day gradually in the rest of the Adriatic, to NW. Sea slight and moderate. Overcast with rain, showers and thunder in places, then clearing from the north.
