DURING THE NIGHT GUSTS OF SE WINDS 35-40, IN THE NORTH AND CENTRAL ADRIATIC FROM THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT UP TO 55 KNOTS, AND SEA INCREASING TO 5. A CHANCE OF LIGHT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS IN THE EXTREME SOUTH AT FIRST AND IN THE NORTH AND CENTRAL ADRIATIC LATE IN THE NIGHT.

The ridge of high pressure from the southwest will briefly influence the weather over the Adriatic, but a new low is expected to approach from the northwest through the night.

NW, in places along the coast NE winds, 6-16, in the open of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic still up to 20 knots at first, easing gradually in the North Adriatic in the morning and elsewhere till the end of the day. In the North Adriatic in the afternoon and elsewhere toward the end of the day, SE winds 6-16 knots. Sea 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear, but in the extreme south of the Adriatic at first still variably cloudy with scattered rain or isolated rain showers and thunder. A new cloud increase is expected in the North Adriatic in the afternoon and in the Central till the end of the day.

Cloud increase is expected in the south of the Adriatic as well, rain and a risk of isolated rain showers with thunder in the North, from the middle of the night in the Central Adriatic. SE winds strengthening to moderate to strong, in the North and Central Adriatic from the middle of the night to strong and gale force. Sea increasing gradually to slight and moderate, in the North and Central Adriatic in the second part of the night possibly up to rough.
