The deep trough with frontal system is approaching the central Mediterranean and the Adriatic from the northwest.
Weather forecast for the Adriatic for the first 12 hours
Mainly NW winds 5-15 knots, turning in the North, then gradually in the rest of the Adriatic, to SE. In the North Adriatic in the evening and gradually in the rest of the Adriatic during the night, SE winds will strengthen to 15-25 knots. Sea 2-3, increasing during the night to 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Fine or fair. In the evening and during the night cloud increase, bringing rain, isolated rain showers and thunder in the North Adriatic later on.
