Synopsis
The field of low pressure over the central Mediterranean and the Adriatic is filling up, while the ridge of high pressure is intensifying from the west.
Weather forecast for the Adriatic for the first 12 hours
NE winds strengthening firstly in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic to 12-24, in places up to 28 knots, spreading gradually more to the south of the Adriatic, where variable winds expected to reach up to 14 knots at first. Sea 2-3, in the open and in the Velebit Channel increasing gradually to 3-4. Visibility above 20 km. Variably cloudy with a risk of a little rain or isolated rain showers with thunder.

Moderate to strong NE winds, in places up to near gale force, easing a little toward midday, firstly in the North Adriatic. Sea slight, locally up to moderate. Gradual clearing, except in the southern part of the Adriatic, where rain or showers with thunder are still likely.
