The ridge of high pressure from the west is intensifying over the Adriatic, while the low still lies over the South Adriatic.
Weather forecast for the Adriatic for the first 12 hours
NE winds 8-16, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic 15-25 knots, easing later on. Toward the open sea NW winds 10-20 knots. Sea 2-3, toward the open of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic 3-4. Visibility 15-25 km. Mostly clear. In the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic variably cloudy, still with scattered rain and brief isolated rain showers with thunder in the South Adriatic.

In the North Adriatic gradual cloud increase, in the Central mostly clear, and in the South Adriatic variably cloudy, but clearing is expected tomorrow morning. Along the coast light to moderate NE, toward the open sea light to moderate NW winds. Sea smooth, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic up to slight.
