The ridge of high pressure is extending over the Adriatic from the west.
Weather forecast for the Adriatic for the first 12 hours
In the North Adriatic calm or variable winds 4-10, toward the end of the day and during the night SE strengthening to 4-14 knots. In the Central and South Adriatic NW, along the coast in the morning still NE, and in the afternoon mainly SW winds 4-14 knots, dying away toward the end of the day and during the night. Sea 1-2, in the open of the South Adriatic during the day still 2-3. Visibility 10-20, in places reduced to around 4 km due to mist, or possibly to less than 1 km due to fog, mainly in the northern part of the Adriatic in the morning. In the North Adriatic gradual clearing, elsewhere mostly clear with some clouds only in places.
