The ridge of high pressure lies over the Adriatic, while the new trough with weakened frontal system is approaching from the northwest.
Weather forecast for the Adriatic for the first 12 hours
NE winds 15-25, in the Velebit Channel 25-35 knots. Toward the open sea of the Central and South Adriatic in the afternoon NW winds 10-20 knots. Sea 2-3, toward the open in the morning 3-4. Visibility 15-25 km. In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic mostly clear, elsewhere variably cloudy with light scattered rain, but clearing is expected during the day.

Mostly clear with light to moderate, in places at first still up to strong NE winds. Sea smooth or slight, toward the open of the South Adriatic up to moderate.
